just a few musings on the US military and its record.....
World War I: the US entered WWI based on a number of pretexts - the sinking of the Lusitania being one - which suited both the British and US governments in swaying the opinion of America against its neutrality in WWI - though the US only joined in two years after the sinking of the ship since they weren't ready in 1915 to go to war..... now I've got no problem about the US entering WWI on the side of Britain, since Britain and its allies would most assuredly have lost the war without US assistance, but why not simply declare war on Germany without going through a charade? the Lusitania by the way was unescorted when it sank while sailing through a known u-boat patrolled area - i.e. the sinking of the Lusitania was allowed to happen....
World War II: the destruction of Pearl Harbour. It is inconceivable that the US government did not know of this attack prior to Dec 7 1941. Documents released since clearly show that the US navy knew there was a Japanese force massing in the Pacific with a heading for Hawaii. Plus the US had been warned by foreign embassies of such an attack, and the final nail in the coffin - US Navy intelligence had long since cracked the most secret war time code 'Purple' used by the Japanese military. And the US didn't know beforehand of the Japanese intent to attack Pearl Harbour? again, it was an exercise in swaying public opinion to join in WWII and had it not then the Allies would most certainly have lost the war in mainland Europe - i.e. Pearl Harbour was allowed to happen.....
War in Vietnam: The famous Gulf of Tonkin incident where Vietnamese PT boats attacked US warships allowed Johnson to go into Vietnam boots and all..... small problem, the incident NEVER happened...... it was a fabrication....
War in Iraq: The US invades Iraq leading to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, laying waste to the entire country, destroying almost all its infrastructure to teach them a lesson not to bomb American buildings such as the World Trade Centre?..... errr, no, that was the Saudis..... errr, no, that was because Iraq had weapons of Mass Destruction? - small problem, Iraq had no such thing..... it was a fabrication......
911: similar theme to reasons given for entry to WWI and WWII except that this time the theme was centred around OIL. No, I'm not about to say that the US govt carried out the attacks on the WTC - but what I will say is that US govt agencies knew that an attack on the WTC was going to happen and conveniently NORAD's attention was focussed on military exercises being conducted elsewhere at precisely that time? - i.e 911 was allowed to happen......
make of it what you will - but hell, I'm sure glad these bastards are on our side??????
