I've been following the Three Stooges since I was a kid and I'm pretty sure there was an episode where Curly mentioned that they were "dependent nations". Or was it Larry who said it? Anyway, I think you may have misheard what was said. The sound quality on some of the earlier episodes wasn't the best, was it?
