At 30 June 2020, NIAA had 1276 employees, including 87 non-ongoing employees. NIAA has a diverse workforce. Just over two-thirds of our workforce are women (68.4 per cent) and 23 per cent identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander employees.
NIAA has staff working across Australia, with 41 per cent of staff located outside Canberra in other capital cities and regional and remote areas. Further information is provided in the following tables.
