the Calma Langton report it states “Shared DECISION MAKING with governments.”. ....... this was before the changes made to the referendum question from offering "advice" to "make representations.

It further states that “the National Voice would be able to raise any issue that it VIEWS as important …..”.. ...... this is restricted by the referendum at this stage. th4e later determination of the Voice scope and function will make these definitions in Parliament.

I haven't used the Calma/Langton report as a reference source, but have suggested some people should read it as part of the due diligence in making their own decision.

the Voice reference group has made all the detail that are seeking, but it will remain for parliament to decide.... this may be different to the Voice reference group. leave it to parliament without pre-judging lethalba.... we trust them to run our country, run the economy. often enough they fail but thats what we get with partisan politics. we really only have two options to choose from.

its a good post lethalba... thanks for the stimulus.

I use "may" or "might" because nothing prospective is a given. parliament will make the necessary decisions.
