Meanwhile, the initial results from the Pfizer trial did see one severe case in the treatment arm (albeit not serious enough to be hospitalised) vs. 3 in the placebo arm (plus two more in the period between vaccination and onset of immunity). Those are the black dots on the incidence curves below. Numbers on that aspect are still too small to draw firm conclusions, but it looks good so far - and the primary result (reduction in lab-confirmed infection) is spectacular.
