I read that LIT is going to choose one place to develop their method, it said that this was most likely to be in Europe (with EMH - European metal holdings)
Now that you mention this proposal - I am wondering if they may choose PLS instead which may be great for both.
but is this a double edged sword?
the technique they are proposing (using the lithium tied up in mica deposits) is a lot cheaper than current methods (both using spodumene and brine) - if it works. If the mica method is proven does that not make the other resources less valuable (as there are large mica deposits in numerous places)?
