In 2016, GE expanded its additive portfolio and spent
more than $1 billion to buy controlling stakes in two leading manufacturers of industrial 3D printers: Sweden’s Arcam AB and Germany’s Concept Laser. While Concept Laser’s machines use lasers to shape components from metallic powder, Arcam uses an electron beam, which is more powerful. It enables the machines to print faster and fuse layers as thick at 100 microns, twice the width of what a laser can print.

General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) is looking to scoop up the remaining shares of a Swedish 3D-printing company more than a year after it announced plans to acquire a controlling stake in a $1.4 billion deal.

Now consider TTT and the technology, possible applications and appeal to global players in this space. Clearly, with the share price increase, some do, however, many fund managers will ignore due to lack of earnings etc. This is an opportunity to get in while the market cap is a tad over AUD200m. You only need to look at the value that some of these companies with lesser technology are being scooped up at.
3. We are on the cusp of a new worldwide industrial revolution in metals printing/AM and TTT has a big seat at the table. A good starting point is to consider that TTT aims to have operational (March 18),
the worlds largest metal 3D and additive manufacturer (AM) printers, with a build size of 40.3 cubic meters (9mx3mx1.5m). This capacity dwarfs current competitive metals printing technologies (0.3m x 0.3m x 03m).
