This question is much closer to home, quite literally in fact.
A very basic tin operation can cost as little a $17,000 but for that money you're shovelling the dirt and sleeping in a tent. Realistically, it would require $400K-500K + earthmoving lease costs to start any kind of serious operation. This assumes that there is eluvial/colluvial tin surrounding the Stanley river magnetite. This is the material that would be being worked with this kind of set up.
