Everyone is being labeled as one "ism" or another these days ... It's become totally ridiculous.

To enable the possibility of first nations people in to the running (meaning having political clout) of this country is to open the greatest can of worms in the administration of Australia, that many have not even considered. Dreamtime, sacred ground, spirits and much more are part of their culture but it will/very likely be superimposed over all of our domain if its allowed to be - the genie out of the bottle. This isn't racism, but simply the way human nature is and a course very probably taken with time. No blame, just reality.

BHP directors - like all company directors, should pull their heads in from seeking populist brownie points. This is a referendum for the people to vote on, not a BHP or Qantas or any other corporate entity voice to speak out on seeking to ingratiate themselves to customers or shareholders.
