You are both clearly wrong. The referendum is about First Nations people who were dispossessed of their land by the British. Sure, they are a minority of the current Australian population. The change to the law had nothing to do with the colour of their skin but rather that they occupied Australia first and as the High Court determined in the Mabo case had certain rights as a result. That you both try to paint the position as black v white is racist and you both have been fooled by the "No" propaganda.
Amending the Constitution does not of itself solve the problem but maintaining the status quo does not even attempt to deal with the problem.
