It's fantastic to have some one from the CR here to comment from the Czech point of view and who speaks the language and understands mining . As this gives us the opportunity of trying to understand the real guts of the problem from the standpoint of the Czech peoples or more importantly the Gov.!!!
My one concern is that given the EU's attitude to immigration, (they are being sued for not obeying
Brussel's dictates) the now left leaning Gov. may decide to tell the EU to piss off. and procede to leave the EU as the UK is doing.
This surely will impact on the strength of any legal agreements we may have with the CR.
Secondly there is no way we can enforce our "legal rights" to continue the developement of the project against the will of the sitting Gov.
I may be wrong but don't we need ongoing services and support from local companies supplying: Transport; Engineering Services; Hydraulic services; Water supplies; Electricity services and connections; and even accomodation and food supplies. The list goes on!!!
We would quickly discover that all the supplying companies and state owned utilities were to busy to support us, or had no personel available for the next 18-24 months!!!
Our only hope as you say is to come to a commercial arrangement with the state owned Diamo and to make it a co-operative project. Which I thought was the initial intent of the MoU signed in Dec17
