The findings are based on 292,457 respondents who participated in Vote Compass from April 10 to April 21, 2022 and on 368,097 respondents who participated from April 10 to April 28 2019. Source: ABC Vote Compass. Overall, in 2019, 64 per cent of voters supported the push for a referendum ahead of the last election. In the latest survey ahead of this year's election, 73 per cent supported the move.
