I have never invested in banks because they seemed to make profits appear out of thin air (alchemy) via credit creation. In a deflationary period you get the reverse effect, credit vanishes so profits fall. Felt this had to happen at some time.
What is your take on commodities (where I invest), chart wise ie. Does it appear that they will fall in price significantly in the medium term? Fundmentals suggest commodities should do well long term, but in a deflation all asset prices fall.
Yeah Yeah, I know guys/gals, BRICs to the rescue.
Also what does your chart show for BHP. BHP is not looking good on the markets today.
PS: No need to ban someone just because he basis his views on charts. Charts are not fundamental analysis, they are just charts, captures the collective consciousness of the market at a point in time with past data as a backdrop (as far as my non-charting understanding goes).
