The way I see it mm is you are for a CT because you get a handout from the Govt and against the GST at whatever % because you expect a handout from the Govt.
It's obvious because removing the CT would reduce power bills by 9-10% by what Labor have admitted in extra costs. Power companies would be forced to reduce or face profiteering charges. Then on the other hand, let's say a 5% rise in the GST, and it is user pays.
Then we all foot the bill to pay back the billions this Labor Govt have spent recklessly. Even you mm!
If I have to pay more tax, I want the people that rort the system to pay more as well. You know what I mean mm? I think we all do.
When you get your head around the fact that you should not expect to be looked after by the Govt. financially and take some responsibility of your own, one may stop being a burden on the population....and this web site. Ultimately contributing to the economy rather than being a leach on it.
