Agree with views on Carnarvon being a take over target,
I took profits on my Beach Energy position yesterday due to forward sentiment on production - Beach is in a net cash position and is scrambling to find production - CVN will be on their radar.
There will be a heightened level of M&A activity by O&G producers who are seeking proven reserves with low levels of geopolitical risk. Greenfield developments lead times are too long and are more expensive than brownfield if you can buy at a discount to NAV.
I am a buyer of CVN at these prices..
