The Mexican / American border can be enforced quite easily to prevent illegals.

But a physical WALL is only needed in some places, this where the public are free to come into close proximity to the border, as in Tijuana & El Peso. It is symbolic i.m.h.o.

The non-material WALL will be far more effective.

The US border can hold out illegals, but it will be achieved by enforcing existing laws, (passed by Democrats) err - vehemently, or at least more vehemently.

To minimise the public spectacle, humiliation & damage the left have planned against Mr. Trump, Donald Trump must act swiftly & vigorously against Americans & rather not against illegals - mostly Mexicans.

If employers of illegals ("undocumented Americans" - the euphemism.) are fined heavily, No valid US social security = no job.
AND
If the rules are enforced against employers, systematically & regularly then illegal immigration will slow.
AND so too
If landlords are heavily fined for leasing residential and commercial property to illegals. No valid non US social security = no house.
AND
If lawyers are heavily fined for transferring residential and commercial property to illegals. No US social security = no American property
AND
If car dealers are heavily fined for selling cars to peoples who cannot register cars in the USA. No US social security = no driver's license. No trailer park trash.
AND
If academic institutions are heavily fined for admitting illegals
AND
if Uber is fined for contracting with illegals
AND
If federal legislation can compel California, and it's sanctuary cities, from ignoring federal laws

... Mexicans will not come, and those illegals in the US will slowly return to their homes in Mexico & all of Latin America.

Trump must ensure that NO pitiful footage of poorly clothed children, and old ladies being dragged across the border, by ruthless (white??) US guards. CNN & TIME have already sent a bunch of photographers to Tijuana, El Peso to catch the heart wrenching moment. They want this to be a Public Relations spectacular in mega-pixel dump.

... and images or Mr. & Mrs. Apple Pie being brought to law courts are NOT the images CNN wants to publish.

Trump controls the terrain, he must pick his wars wisely.
