I am a man, a father, a husband, a son, a brother and a friend and I have feelings. If it’s good enough for Sarah-Hanson Young and Meshel Laurie to publically express their views it’s only fair I share mine.

I am sorry for the physical and emotional pain and suffering of all human beings regardless of who, how, when or why such action was cast upon them.

However;

I am hurt that a certain group or groups of feminists and other minority groups portray men as rapists and misogynists.
I am empathetic to the unfortunate men whose lives have been derailed by vile false accusations of rape.
I am fed up with some biased commentators linking “rape” to every so called “offensive” comment from unsuspecting men.
I am angry the 4th Estate is continually and increasingly portraying men as incompetent and stupid.
I am angry that feminist groups and social media are stereotyping fathers as second class parents.
I continue to be disgusted by the Safe Schools Program and its surreptitious message.
I am sad that the family unit of father, mother and children is being replaced by alternative models.
Worst of all, I am shocked that men are becoming afraid of saying anything for fear of retribution.
This is the epitome of hypocrisy that is “freedom of speech”.
To the hypocrites and liars of the 4th Estate and the filthy prostitutes of our political leadership; you are vile and abhorrent.

A very comprehensive post, demonstrating your passion for supporting your roles in life and the vast majority of others of your sex, who feel their voices are unable to be heard due to the loud and mounting screeching ugliness of a small proportion of women claiming to represent all women. This cohort of females you have described very accurately.

Such women do not represent me! Nor my women friends. Probably not 99% of females.

May men continue to be comfortable in their roles as fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, etc and recognise that the vast majority of society fully support and respect and need them to do that. We fully appreciate you.

Small minorities these days use social media to get outrageous ideas into society and try hoodwinking us into ascribing to their ideas. Their ideas then get traction way beyond their representation in society. Best example, safe sex programme in Victoria, whose title doesn't relect the curriculum at all. How on earth did that appear as suitable for children?

Those women make me ashamed. They put pressure on men to respond in a way they really don't wish to do, as they recognise it's not how they wish to respond.

Anybody, irrespective of their sex, should choose to not interact/respond to gutter dwellers - we are better than that and only drags us down to their level, something which gives them satisfaction.

Yes, I have, for some time now, felt growing alarm on behalf of men and wondering how they are coping.
