The only issue with Swell packers is they need hydrocarbons to swell properly. At such a high water cut I wonder if they would work properly?

I would favour either a sidetrack out of the cemented 9 5/8" casing (lets run a CBL log before hand to check it is OK 1st) or a new well entirely, if a well could be drilled concurrently with producing this one. Given NDO's track record as an operator this would be a big ask.

The major issue is getting funding from the JVP's and if that falls over then can NDO finance it alone?
