P1000, are you saying that you think that they mistakenly have corroded their own cement fill that was placed through the perrforated liner in the old well with the acid during this third acid permeability enhancement? or that overpressures have built up resulting in explulsion of the water up the casing?
Anyway, packers do sound like a good idea, being a hell of a lot cheaper than redrilling a new well, surely, and we already have the rig sitting there over the top, providing we can retain it.
