OK, but for the sake of motivation what is the downside of not being able to articulate a way of life in Australia? What are the pitfalls?

Until the last few decades, Australia was undeniably seen as a cohesive country ... "the lucky country" by many. From my recollection the "way of life" back then (to name but a few things) was a pride in the uniqueness of the country, the cohesive nature of families and communities, the pride in success and its manufacturing industry, and the trust in one another that only homogeneity in the majority of society brings. Mundane to you no doubt and certainly not perfect all the time, but better than everywhere else in the world.

The unravelling of the homogeneity through multicultural madness has not damaged the uniqueness of the country, but it has crippled some of the other things I've highlighted. Australia's war heroes would be appalled at what has become of the country.
