Jesus defines the God here as the Only True God and does not include himself as being this only true God.

And this God in question, Jesus defined as the only true God who is the Father. They as the scriptures (Jesus) shows, clearly misunderstood what he was saying, so he answered THE blasphemy charge by telling them he was the Son of God, which is NOT God. This is what he reaffirmed -> you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
