COM thanks for the posts re. CTP's coal tonnages and gas content. I have done some figures but I cant get anything like your results.
If the current wells are 30kms apart well how does it work.
EG. 100 kms X 100 kms (area) @ 100 metres depth of coal I get 10 billion cu metres (that's 1 X ten noughts ). If 1 cubic metre weighs 2 ton and there is 1 cu metre of gas per tonne --- that equals 20 billion cu metres of gas which is approximately 200 billion cu ft of gas. This is not impressive.
What's up.
