In a week where bets mounted against Iluka, it's finally obv to me the hedgies were testing the price limits of existing shareholders but as Ian Preston from Goldmans told investors during the week "let's not throw the baby out with the bath water".
He reassured his clients that the "SP drop was overdone and had created a buying opportunity. We continue to highlight the significant cash flow and potential dividend that we forecast as drivers for the stock to appreciate"
Basically we're being reassured that long term well... Iluka is a no brainer - nothing new here.
Short term - imo - being the short interest regular it is, the trading opportunities will further appear, just trade for profit as we see it :)
