That was me. And if you do the sums, it's just not worth the hassle.
Sell 2,000,000 TOX at 14 cents (assuming it can be done without moving the market) gives me $280,000
Capital gain (buy price was 4 cents) $200,000
Capital gains tax $100,000
Leaves me with $180,000
Buy 2 million TOXO at 10.5 cents = $210,000
Exercise them at 3 cents = $60,000
Cost to do the exercise $270,000 - leaving me out of pocket by $90,000
Now WHY would I do that?..... :)
I know the point you're making, and it would be a valid thing to do if I'd bought the shares for a lot more, leaving me with much less capital gains tax to pay, and if I did it earlier while the oppies were still much cheaper.
Are my sums wrong somewhere here?
I'm just letting the trend run, with a trailing stop. And it's doing me just fine, thank you :)
