It's NOT (just) ABOUT THE MAPS............its the TOOLS analyzing/presenting the DATA!!!!  (Yes. I am shouting)

Certainly the maps are very important. Today Google cannot provide what is needed (Current - within last few months, Clear - gather on the least cloudy days, Change - decent historical collection). Today nearmap outsources the gathering (flights) of that data while using their own camera technology. If someday someone comes up with a better solution (where each pixel is quantifiable) at a better cost then they can stop doing it themselves and source the map imaging as well. Maybe even from Spookfish!!!

And this is just the "Solar" and "Property" solutions. Never mind Architecture and Engineering; Construction; Government; Insurance; Rail; Roofing (granted there is a fair amount of overlap)
