I spoke to NWT only this week about Laser ablation and how it could generate more revenue for Newsat . This would be on top of the other billions of course.
Im not going to go into major tech details,
However, a Laser ablation unit could be fitted to our new satellite , we will cotrol it with our teleports . ATM we move our customers satellites away from space junk .
The laser ablation can move the junk or shrink it !
The problems posed by space debris have escalated recently, most spectacularly through a “successful” Chinese anti-satellite missile test and a collision in space involving an Iridium
spacecraft. These events generated a large amount of new space debris in orbit around the
earth.Global tracking resources, previously struggling to cope, are now overwhelmed by the
increased demand for data relating to the orbits of space debris. The quantity of debris has
increased, along with the orbit accuracy requirements for collision avoidance applications.
