My view on the matter is that given the state of the credit market at present it is a big deal to be able to secure finance for a latge amount such as this for a relatively small company. The ad is mainly for Patersons's benefit, to show that they can arrange finance thereby hoping to attract new clients with a similar need.
Having said that, no doubt they would have to have obtained NMS' approval before placing the ad.
