    Thanks heaps for that Chezd!

Sorry to put you on the spot re: Western properties but you always seem to know where to go to find solid information on these tenements, which is excellent.

I think AVB must be under some pressure to diversify its exploration program, especially when the Brazilian regulators are apparently going to come down on people who simply sit on or speculate in exploration ground. (I hope that does not apply to un-actioned Trial Mining Licences too..... I am sure TP has it all well in hand, but if it needs re-newing they better get it out of the bottom drawer).

I have printed out your post, complete with airborne magnetics map, and pinned it next to computer as no doubt it will be the focus of upcoming AVB drilling, and posted discussions here too. I note that some AVB drilling in these new targets is planned for this quartile, up to Mid-December at least.

Perhaps Nova Esperanca NE (4 holes) is the first target, as it seems to "look" like Pedra Branca? Then again, Sao Jorge (4 holes) has a Cu-Au soil anomaly of 2,240ppm(!) and far better road access.

As at six years ago the entire N.E. Property has...

    1. Phase 1 VTEM geophysical survey complete
    2. Airborne magnetics
    3. Soil sampling.
    4. Preliminary drilling.... (9 holes total for 2300m.)

That is an average of 255m per hole. Now it seems to me that one reason for Xstrata possibly underestimating PB was they did not drill quite deep enough. For example, the recent gigantic 126m continuous mineralisation zone starts at 248m, and if this is characteristic of such deposits then the shallow Nova Esperanca (NE) drills are the introduction/indication of what is below.

I am amazed at the huge amount of essential preliminary data available, all obtained at somebody else's expense and time! What a brilliant starting point.

I would appreciate the URL's for some of the drill data you mention (particularly those 9-holes), or a lead-in to it, as I am not familiar with SEDAR website and how to use it.

For now I will hold off on the Goiaba, Marques and Canada concession blocks... as the above seems to be the immediate priority ..... NoveEsperanca/Sao Jorge/ Uniao

If I were Xstrata, given the success of AVB to date I would be considering squeezing my strategic holding up a bit, given what is in the exploration pipeline and arguably a SP on the very Low Side.

    Thanks again
    PP
