An offer is made, a vote is taken, sometimes other parties make higher offers once the cards are laid down, problem is the votes usually get over the line because too many conservative holders can't help themselves or see past next Friday, and this case it would be way too early to realise full value if it is coming.
Plus for me I don't want cash, might take scrip as that retains exposure and avoids a CGT event, but let's wait and see what transpires before wildly speculating too much.
