I've been a lurker on this site since 2009, and every now and then, over the years, I have bought and sold a few shares. It's only been in the last few months that I've got into trading a bit more seriously.

I purchased my first batch of MUS shares back in August, and after persuading my wife to allow me to invest more of our precious savings five times since then, I now have what I consider to be a sizeable number of these shares (under half a million).

I spend hours and hours reading the all the posts associated with MUS, and I've taken the advice of those who know a lot more about share trading than I do, and as a consequence, during the past few trading days, as the share price has dropped, I've managed to stay strong, and not impulsively sell my shares. My wife has been a bit stressed when she views the value of our shares in our trading account, each night, on her computer, and sees the profit repeatedly dropping. More than once in the last week, I've had to calm her down, and pretend to be the consummate share trader, and sound like I know what I'm talking about. For a relative newbie to the scene, it has been a bit stressful.

Like all of us, here, I hope the auction is a huge success, and that it proves to be a worthwhile investment. I know nothing about takeovers. I hope if there is one, we get the chance to sell our shares at a reasonable price. My preference is to keep my shares into the future, and travel on this journey with Mustang Resources for as long as I choose.

Well done for holding your nerve, it's never fun watching profits disappear. (Hence the reason I am always slow to tell my missus of the gains until locked in) I am sure you've read it 100 times but the market doesn't move in straight lines you can pretty much look at any chart and it tells the same story.

Now that we are at the coal face and are watching movements daily it can get a little all-consuming, but as time goes by and this intense period is over you will step back and I'm fairly confident that you will be amazed at how small this retrace is in the big picture.
