There are a couple of elephants in the room which will be revealed in the fullness of time and the light of day. In the meantime, however, we can only guess by the shape and circumstance. One is, who owns the molecule that PYC is planning to take into the clinic. Yes, I understand that PYC has plucked the CPP from its library but attached it to whose ASO or indeed does PYC - the peptide biotech - have the scientific capability to make its own ASOs?
According to the September presentation PYC owns the whole molecule - slide 6. I'm unaware that this has been previously disclosed but answers one key question. I missed the investor call and more details may have come to light during the discussion by the CEO. We would appear to own the drug in the same way that Sarepta owns Exondys 51. Of course there is that elephant again.
