By saying "to account for", I do not mean "held to account" or "throwing eggs at her". All I am saying is that there has to be some explanations from her, which I am sure she is working on. As you have pointed out, there was an air of optimism in ACL and that cancer cells were being killed. What was it based on? May be some wrong assumptions were made. That does not mean she is to be blamed. I do very well appreciate her resolve to find cancer cures and the motivation that goes with it.
Science by definition involves systematic study and I can't wait to know what went wrong in the trial..... and I believe that only she can provide the scientific answers.
