Why would people sell when the NSAI report is imminent?!?! This is a spec share to hold on to long term in my opinion - at least until drilling commences - then you can re-assess your risk/reward at that stage. Until then, there are several milestones which are coming up which are NOT speculative (ie WHN have control over - such as farm in etc). For me, this is not a pump and dump (such as other resource explorers for example where there are countless p+d's over drilling results (something which is entirely speculative and which the company as no real control over IMO).

The only milestones/events which WHN has no control over are other drilling projects in the seychelles area (and now off WA) and the associated drilling results (obv no company has control over that).

Technically until we get some oil out of the ground this company will remain speculative however IMO this should not be traded as a spec stock. People who are selling in the 6's now will kick themselves in 6 months time when this is probably trading a lot higher (assuming things go ahead as scheduled).

Once we get some traction re drilling campaign (say in 12-18 months leading up to drilling) then --assuming other campaigns aren't dusters--- the sp will be boosted even higher. This 'traction' (including farm in agreements etc) is NOT speculative (ie the result is not a gamble) and risk is quite low (as it currently is) and will remain that way.

I only see substantial risk when we are at the stage of drilling, where if we drill dusters (especially in creol) then SP will be dumped big IMO. Until then, say another 18-24 months, I can only see gradual moves up in price. A slow gradual move up is a lot more assuring than a massive spike and drop right back down. If there was a spike, it tells me that people dont really care about the prospects of success over the long term, or they simply dont believe the company has any prospects of success. Not the case so far with WHN. SP tells the story and there is no chance that I am selling when there is so much upside.

All IMO. Stick to your plan. My plan is longer term.
