I agree. I think Kevin Rudd called it wrong when he said the Solomons agreement was politically illiterate of the Chinese. To me it was a measured rebuke of AUKUS and the nuclear submarines - those actions were not friendly!
I reckon the Chinese are hankering for Aussie wines again and if we play our cards right they can have that, and NIC can have a friendly field of operation.
