I assume fighters get knocked out sometimes in amateur boxing? If so, any fighter knows they can get knocked out any time they enter the ring. That makes stopping a fight because your opponent's punch is too hard a bit unusual if it didn't knock you out. It's entirely possible she pulled out of the bout to make the point that her opponent shouldn't be in the competition, not because of how hard the punch was.
