In general women in sport are not happy with this development. Decisions are being made by sporting bodies and not necessarily the athletes. Maybe that’s a big call on my part but you only need to watch what happens when a woman calls out a trans who has won. or raises the more general issue of trans in women’s sport. The woman is the one who suffers.
in the interests of the rights of a minority the rights of women are now trampled on. It’s political to the extent that governments make decisions on what can go on passports and the extent of support they give out loud
the greens have certainly made it a political issue and it is on their policy agenda. Opponents have been abused and criticised at their conferences
there is a level of tolerance for so called individual rights that tramples over the rights of others. In the interests of tolerance the state of womanhood which has been based on sex at birth is now apparently irrelevant and what matters more is how you feel. Except for how those who were female at birth feel.
