Understand all that but my question was in relation to the second paragraph in the post I quoted.
I simply don't think WPL want Senegal at any cost and if either or both FAR/CNE PE I think WPL will walk. If I was WPL and FAR came to me and said what's it worth to stop us preempting I would say nothing........do you want a JV partner who wants to proceed and has the expertise, cash and willingness to drive the field to production or do you want to take the chance on finding 5 billion between you and CNE?
The more I think on it the only way FAR will preempt is with a partner and it won't be WPL IMO. DB
