Providing you are doing your work and are productive - it is irrelevant whether you are at home or in the office. Really depends on your job and if you studiously do your job. Working from home is just that it is not a holiday and if you are not doing your job you should be let go or bought back into the office. Working from home has the advantages of less travel and allows participants better balance with managing family - that said it may mean you have to make up time later if you have to address family issues throughout the day. Obviously there are meetings that need to be remotely attended and work needs to be prioritised as it is your job.
