That works out at around $55 per GigaJoule.
Large industries in the area probably pay around $30 per GigaJoule.
The best thing that could happen for Northern Rivers gas users if for Metgasco to build the pipeline to Ipswich and let the Northern Rivers get hold of some of that Queensland gas at export parity price of around $9 per GigaJoule.
