The inaction of Shane Fitzsimmons and Gladys Berejiklian is not the result of climate change.
I would say the inaction of Gladys Berejiklian and Shane Fitzsimmons in putting out the fires is more at the heart of this than any climate change, even the left wing ALP hardly a crew of climate denialists, admit that it is Berejiklian who is "flat footed", Shane Fitzsimmons has many times said his Brigades have been unable to put out the fire. He has not resigned and seemingly stays put at his "Oaks" Headquarters, not doing anything beyond saying the conditions are catastrophic "from the confines of his airconditioned HQ" and that his brigades are tired. Perhaps Shane could get in a fire truck and find out for himself what the conditions were, if the brigade trucks fit his dimensions?
Former fire chief, Phil Koperberg with all his personal issues and ALP leaning tendencies could put out fires, you can be stood aside by the then Premier Iemma for personal issues but as for doing your job and putting out fires, inaction is OK so it seems for Shane Fitzsimmons, see below.

In an affidavit that Mr Koperberg's former wife signed 20 years ago, she alleges she and her daughter were assaulted by Mr Koperberg. Yesterday Mr Koperberg denied ever being violent towards women.
Mr Koperberg says he will not be commenting on the matter today as it is now the subject of a police investigation.
Mr Iemma says he contacted police when two people called him today to discuss their experience of the matters involving Mr Koperberg.
"Accordingly given that there are two people who wish to discuss this matter, I did ask my director-general to contact the police and to have them contact these persons who have come forward," he said.
He says the matter is now in the hands of the police and it would be inappropriate for him to disclose the identity of the two people.
Emergency Services Minister Nathan Rees will serve as the Acting Minister in Mr Koperberg's portfolio.
Opposition Leader Barry O'Farrell says Labor Party infighting is the reason the details about the allegations have surfaced.
"This is a Labor Party in New South Wales that uses issues of domestic violence against women as part of their factional weaponry," he said.
Mr O'Farrell has criticised the Premier for not taking action against Mr Koperberg sooner.
"Morris Iemma fails to understand the importance of sending a clear signal when it comes to domestic violence," he said.
Police have declined to say how long they expect their inquires to take.
