so in effect, it was not a bid at all. as i first said, i wonder if the bid will be pulled prior to trading - and in effect, it has been. who knows, i might bid for 1m shares tomorrow morning, at $1, and then pull the bid at the last minute. mmmmm would be interesting, if the online broker system crashed, and i could not pull the bid
