    The fatal weakness of socialism in all its form is that it centralizes power, limits the rights and power of the individual, and this makes it much easier for a small group to seize power, quickly adjust the remaining safe guards to individual rights and poof...you have a chairman for life.
    The working class or intellectual class mob are the useful idiots thinking that they will have power and rights....'come the revolution', history shows most of them are the first ones up against the wall when the inevitable dictator seizes power.

    btw, I agree with you that the US as the 'world's policeman' is dangerous and the times when the US is in isolation is preferable.
