I think the real value of LOM is going to be the fancy coloured diamonds being uncovered.
You just have to read this artical from the New York Times to understand why coloured diamonds have surged in value, basically wealthy buyers in volatile economies view rare, coloured diamonds as a hedge against economic uncertainty and they are now becoming more of a financial investment.
