personally the media has to much control over how people react to certain news topics, there is a lack of critical thinking and questioning of the media and governments by the populace in general.

Its to easy to be one of the sheep in the realm of public opinion.

Take fore example serious discussion of ufo reports and the existance of a extraterristrial visitation to the planet and a us government led truth embargo. Bring up the subject and for 50 years the public has been taught to be critical and laugh it off.

Apply this to a lot of other subject matters and u can see where some issues will arise.
