The bombardment of advice and nonsense claims, and the subsequent irrational "guilt " by some parents who don't act on the claims has become ridiculous. Kids getting their hands wiped with disinfectants every time they pick something up is madness. The power of marketing, and targeting peoples insecurities is big business. I saw on the news tonight how tests have shown that using water for cleaning is just as effective as most major cleansers, and vinegar and soda together outperforms the big brand spray and wipes.
Yes baby wipes are a good example of the nonsense being peddled to parents. How can smearing disinfectant chemicals continually over a baby's bum be beneficial?
