Interesting article emailed to me that was in the SMH. In a nutshell it describes the total decay of society. I have witnessed this economically for several years now and have been both surprised and appalled at the way the powers that be have delayed but also worsened the reckoning. As a whole we up to our ears in debt in the US and Aus but are blissfully ignorant of the possible ruinous ramifications just around the corner. Probably just as well because what is good for the individual would be catastrophic for the economy at large. Somehow I think the Japs are just a decade or so in front of us.
