Religion can't help, in fact it wants to keep breeding like flies so there's plenty of members.
Business can't help, unless there's instant money in it.
Governments can't help, because they have become mere tools of interest groups who frankly just aint interested unless there's instant returns.
And to top it all off, interest groups who want to preserve the status quo are fighting rear guard actions against change and getting plenty of sheep to baaaaa for them.
