I was in the US recently and went to a Fishing camping store there. The layout was fantastic and beats anything I have ever seen in Oz. Staff were low on numbers , but very helpful when required. I ended up buying a big ticket item for my boat which saved me 50% on the Australian price, even after I paid GST on Arrival back in Oz. I could off made the same saving buying it online from a USA retailer. I would have prefered to buy it in OZ, but not at that rip off markup.
By the way Gerry H is trying the same campaign in NZ , with the same lack of success.
