In many poor countries there was a saying:
"Only the rich can afford to be communists".
Take a look at the background of many of the current terrorists: rich, spoiled brats from well off families given many oportunities in their own and western countries that others in poorer countries are lacking.
So how do they "improve" the world? By blowing up people!
