Maybe they can resurrect John Wayne to come out guns blazing and rescue the bride from being kidnapped by those savages...
Could they succesfully clone a cell from Disney and put him into writing a fairytale ending? what? he was lost in the big thaw, maybe he'd be out of touch with current flavours and appetites...
Maybe the poor battered bride in the poor ravaged country will get to move to higher ground due to flooding, deluging from severe rapid downpours from sea water warming fuelling severe storms and stake her claim on the hill meeting her desire for a better life as if prophesized years early... "I'll never eat .... again"
Yes, maybe we could do a remake of "Gone With The (Hot Dry) Wind"?
Maybe when all looks lost for the poor re-married battered wife, previously messed with by other Uncles.... she'll find true love where and she least expects it.... that is, of course, after Uncle Sam saves the rising sea level problem by blowing a canal through South Australia from the ocean to the new old inland sea....
(singing).... "Don't want to close my eyes"...... hmmm, that movie script holds some promise.... could make a deep impact....
Now, hmmmm, who would best fit the parts?.... I think Nicole might not cut it as the hard done by poor wifey type... Muriel's Wedding chicks.... maybe.... maybe the one who was getting married to the already unfaithful guy, yet excluded the others.... Sophie... hmmm, good looking, tooo.. now, male guys.... Hugh Jackman... well forget about "I go to Rio"... that's old sold out country... Hugh did play a good transforming character, a wolf dressed up as a man.... then there's Eric Bana...."they got kick boxing 24 hours a day"...hmm, some deinite prospects for a Melbournian multi-cultural thingy dimension.... now, who plays the likable scallywag, the irrepressable rogue?.... Sir Les.... nah, he's diplomatic material and doesn't quite have the pearly whites......... who's that cool, also funny, talented Asian guy? Jackie Chan.... future husband's father??.. depends what sort of script we want to write, who we choose, what we want to say? who owns the movie making machine....
Yes, we can't forget who has the power to turn the taps on and off, whether it's good weather, drought or flood..... the guys who make the stuff dreams (and nightmares) are made of.... good to have something uplifting for the masses in times of trouble... anyway, back to Sir Les.... and don't forget the eye candy research assistants....
